About Me

 

My Name is Richard Devlin, I am a fully qualified professional angling coach with the P.A.A. I have been successfully fishing since the age of 12 and have fished all over the UK in the pleasure, match and club fishing scenes.

Over this time I have built up a vast amount of knowledge and experience through watching and fishing against others, attending various angling schools throughout school holidays (Ian Heaps School of Angling) and experimenting with different techniques.

I have caught numerous fish into double figures  and have had several bags of fish weighing over 100lbs.

I have such a passion for this sport that I want to pass on my knowledge and experience to others and help them catch more fish in the correct way, coaching was a natural choice.

So I applied for the Level II Certificate in Coaching Angling

At Pershaw college. Passing this I decided that this was the

Route I was going to take, I set up as CastAway Coaching

And here I am today. It was the best move I ever made, and

I would never look back. The satisfaction and rewards that I get from the sport and the coaching are worth every bit of my

Time and effort that I have put in to getting were I am today.
